Hi,

No I don`t want an AKS, but I do want a joystick on me Sound Lab. A bargain ar £4-50 +vat from RS components. Everyone should have one.

I had a VCS3 for 3 years in the 80`s so I have got that yearning for one out of the way now. Not much more on it than a Sound Lab anyway.

HI Albut,

So where's the secret joystick layout Very Happy? So everyone can have one.
It would be much appreciated.

There is no layout. It`s simple.

I used the joystick with 100k pots.

There are 2 pots on the joystick. On each one fit a 10k resistor to the 2 outside pins of the pots. Connect +v to the 2 left resistors and -v to the 2 right resistors (or reverse them depending on which way you want the voltage swing from the joystick) The centre pins of the pots are the CV outputs. I have put an output level pot for each one and these are routed via switches to VCOs etc.

There is also a switch built into the joystick you can use to trigger the AR gen if you want, but I didn`t use it.

Thanks Albut,

That sure looks like it v-un-v. Looks like eventually I'm gonna have to make another SL with all these fancy things all you clever folks keep adding.
