I've been researching the possibility of building a DM-1 (or 4!).
The DM-1 is my favourite pedal, it's an analogue delay that runs off a 4096 stage BBD (the MN3005). I'd like to put 4 in a rack unit to make a super analogue delay/reverb kind of thing.
The MN3005 is really rare though. I've only found them at Small Bear. At about US$25.
Does anyone know anywhere else I might find them?

I've got a lot of LM13700's would they be usable as CA3080 replacements?

it seems to me that one LM13700 would replace two CA3080 -
and i have use the LM13700 to replace two CA3080 in the DS7 clones . and it works just fine.

Yeah,
that's what I meant, sorry.
I just wondered whether each OTA in a 13700 was suitable for the DS7.
I'll probably put two DS7s in each board so I don't waste the 13700s.
Thanks heaps,
Andrew

are you making DS7 stripboards?
i have a PCB layout that holds tree DS7-clones on one 10cmx16cm board.
if you want it i can send it to you

Yeah,
that'd be cool.
Even if I still make them up on stripboard, the PCB is always a handy reference point design wise.
I've got to get my CV keyboard and my robotic ride cymbal finished first though.
And uh-oh, watch out, here comes christmas! Now that's bound to get in the way!! Wink
