Glad you like it.
I patched this after reading an article in the latest SOS about granular synthesis.
I *REALLY* hope we will see grain modules one day in the G2!
I don't know many hardware synths which offer grain synthesis in a modular environment
(except for the Kyma if you can call that a hardware synth) anyone knows some others??
This would make the G2 really unique and alot more interesting for people who are into
ambient, film music, extraordinary evolving soundscapes and alot more!
I'm very intersted in these kind of sounds because I need them alot.
Maybe something for v2.0?
ohh, forgot to mention, you have to load this patch in slot A
to make the visual feedback work from the attack, hold & decay
modulations.

I'd like that as well .. meanwhile also see http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-2718.html for Rob's take at grains.

You wrote it somewhere, maybe in the patch ?
I had to modify it indeed for another slot, we need "self" as a MIDI routing option ! _________________ Jan

While making this patch I think I've discovered a graphic bug in the editor.
The blinking lights from the 2 LFO's in the FX area for Pan1 & Pan2 doesn't seem to work,
no matter what rate you select on the LFO's
It seems like there's a "blinking-lights-limit" in the editor
Can anyone check if the 2 lights from those modules blink on their system?
As a test I've made a simple patch with lots of blinking lights (40 LFO's)
When you add LFO nr. 41, an Env or another module with a light it won't blink |

There used to be such led-limits for the NM classic, so I'm not really surprised.
The need for such limits may be less for the USB link, but initially the G2 editor software did not perform very well for large patches when multiple G2s were connected - so maybe a limit was re-introduced. _________________ Jan
