To keep a few of the other threads from getting cluttered and for easier reference Im starting a TM-7 audio demos thread. Smile

For starters, for use with a guitar it works better when you put a cleanboost or preamp before, especially if you are going to use it in Teabag mode.
Here is a demo proving that point:
Cleanboost on then cleanboost off with teabag engaged
I like the ProTone Pedals Boombox.
For synths it does fine without a booster.

The more you crank it going in, the crazier this thing becomes Very Happy
Scrotum Up Ya ASS becomes an LFO
The Line6 POD XT is before that on a moderate setting(nothing extreme) and teabag is engaged, There is so much gain inside the tm-7 that a feedback loop occurs, sometimes it even stays for a while, this time it acted like an LFO, good stuff!

You can also get some cool, fun arpy sounds with this thing from all the gain causing a feedback loop,
Check this out! pluck a note and let the tubes do the rest!
You can also do some waveshaping in teabag mode.
There is a sweet spot you will find towards the end of the knob between almost all the way cranked and fully cranked.
Check it out!
Waveshaping behavior and more bleep bleeps and some nasty shriek sweeping

"Synths, How is thing with synths you ask???"
Ill tell you....
It can be a synth!
Future Retro Mobius Sequence into TM-7 then fed into a hungry TM-1
Another Mobius sequence ran into TM-7 then fed to TM-1

"So how the hell do we know what the sequence sounds like all we hear is a bunch of noise!!?" Laughing
Here is a file with the Pulse ran into the mixer UNAFFECTED BY THE TM-7 OR ANYTHING ELSE, The cool thing about the mobius is it can send midi and gate cv at the same time, so youll hear the tm-7/tm-1 combo and then hear me mute the pulse off and on fed by the same sequence.
The pulse will be very obvious, everything else is all metasonix!!!
Mobius sequenced TM-7 ran through TM-1 with waldorf pulse UNAFFECTED in the background muted and unmuted

"So lets hear some synths ran through that bitch!"
OK, I got a little distracted with the noises that the TM-7 can make by itself,
but here ya go:
Waldorf pulse meets the TM-7, TM-7 takes over and claims its territory

That wraps it up for now.

I will share a track im working on that I started on the first day I got the TM-7, the synths arent affected by the TM-7 but the drums and guitar are
Smile
Sounds great with drums!
Scrotum Smasher
When i get a TM-3 Ill finish it.

Im also working on an ambient/soundtracky thing with the almighty Muff Wiggler that when finished will show the Scrotum Smasher in something other than the hectic chaotic noise that is fun to make.

Very cool -- trashy and thrashy! The Metasonix stuff is perfect for your sound!
