I don't succeed in playing keys with my Kenton.

Only one sound everytime, on each keys!


How ti plug it ?

i know its a silly question but you have both the trigger and cv jacks connected?

You can only play one note at the time.
Polyphonic won't work.
And i think you need a volt/hz cv connection to get a proper tuning.

or to put it another way

come out of the gate out of the kenton plug it in to the trigger in on the left of the wretch

also

come out of the hz/v cv output of the kenton and plug that into the pitch cv in on the far left of the wretch

you will then have 2 jacks going into the wretch and hopfully at long last a fully functioning unit !!!

Ok now it works

But still have a problem for the Tune!....

I can't play with true Tune in an octave!... Just 4 or 5 keys are OK...

Higher is out of tune!

or you could be sending notes to high or lo?

i dont have a kenton so dont know if it could have a transpose set?

the fun of it for me has been finding the wretches strengths and learning how to use it

i dont know all the answers but can promise you that it is without doubt the most stunning sounding box i have ever come across.....

but you obviously have to tune each osc seperatley

and then if you change them have to tune them again....

you should get an octive or 2 in tune kinda ok... Wink

re: tuning.

The Wretch Machine is only capable of tracking about 2 octaves accurately.

You have to adjust the tracking as explained in the manual.

If you change ranges you will probably have to re-adjust the tracking.

You have to adjust each oscillator separately.

If you move the joystick and press down on it, do you get variable sounds?
