There are some samples here:

Wow, thanks for cooking up that AVR cool bass line !!! A good example of what an 8 bit MCU is capable of in terms of musical applications. The AVR synth sounds like a very capable sound module. Sounds like you were adding some LFO frequency modulation. I also heard multiple voices, like two with one bing transposed by an octave?
Thanks for the example ....... I will have to go over to that website and take a peek and hear more samples.
EDIT:
Just went over to take a peek at the schematic and sound examples and I tell you, sound sample #3 really could be the patch for the lead synthesizer line in ELP's "Luck Man" with that portamento setting and piercing voice !!!!! Nice !!!!

No problem, I am glad you liked it.

The AVR synth has an LFO which can be used to modulate the DCO or the DCF. The LFO depth can be controlled with the Mod Wheel.

There are two voices, both controlled by midi. Each of the two voices can be changed of octave with the flick of a switch and one of them can be detuned with one of the knobs.

Check also Daniel Krue Modifications to the software: http://krue.net/avrsyn/
You would need an ATMEGA32 and a 16MHz clock to run those though (I still have not modified my synth with those changes). |
