Not sure how new this one is, but I just noticed it:

Bergfotron VC Delay

VC Analog Delay, PCB for Press n' Peel; uses MN3207, BL3207, or BL3208 BBDs. Small Bear has these ICs for $4.25

Why bother, I can't see any advantage over the ADA Flanger.

This looks awesome!! I've been wanting a DIY VC Analog Delay for a long time. Even though there aren't complete schematics, it looks like all the info you'd need to assemble this boards is there.

Does the ADA Flanger work as an echo/delay?

Good find, I might have to give this a go (after I've completed the mountain of other SDIY projects I have sitting in my kitchen).

Any ideas on those resistor values? I can see the color bars on the full ones fine, but some of the small (vertically mounted?) ones I'm not sure of.

He says the circuit is based on the schematic from the datasheet.
The datasheet here lists specific values.
Maybe a good starting point.

Its worth a shot Wink

He won't provide a BOM. He's very friendly and will most likely help clarify parts (he was very patient and answered a million of my questions actually) but I have a project of his in my queue and don't really trust my accurate interpretation of the resistor color codes but he would not verify an entire BOM for me.

Good question, I was thinking purely from the flanging angle. I did sketch out a mod board once for substituting the SAD 4096, but with no companding in the ADA it was really a non starter.
