Hi:
In the past months I finished the first batch of modules of my modular, and
yesterday I put them togheter in my recently finished cabinet (thanks to my wife
for the painting job).
It took me about 18 months to get to this point, and I hope I will fill the
empty spaces before the end of this year.
Also there are some konbs missing (they are a bit expensive).
The modules are:

1 x MIDIbox CV
3 x Yusynth VCO
1 x Quantix-8
3 x Yusynth ADSR (plus one more not installed in the cabinet yet)
1 x Yusynth Minimoog VCF
2 x Yusynth VCA (plus two more not installed in the cabinet yet)
1 x Yusynth LFO
1 x Bergfotron PSU (Formant Synth Based)
1 x 5V PSU (For the MIDIbox CV Core)

The cabinet is barely based in the Yusynth design, and it is 18 units wide.
I've posted individual shots of the Yusynth modules in this post:
http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-31942.html
Shots of the Quantix-8 in this one:
http://electro-music.com/forum/post-238429.html#238429
And shots of the MIDIbox CV here:
http://www.midibox.org/forum/forums.html/topic,13283.0.html
Thanks a lot to Yves Yusson, Marc Bareille, Thorsten Klose, and all the people
here and at www.ucapps.de that help me in the building process.

Hi:
Thank you all for the kind words, I'm glad you like my modular.
As some of you wanted to hear some sounds out of it, this weekend I started
to do some noises with it, sudenly my wife started to jam over the bassline
I was playing. In a few hours we had this song.
So I decided to post it.
All sounds are from the modular except the drums and the voice.
I did a very quick mix, no EQ was used, only some compression on the voice,
some delay in the voice and in the synthlines, and some limiting at the output,
no reverb at all.
Here is a quick description of the sounds:

- Drums: TR-9090 (a DIY clone of the TR-909).
- Bass: 2 Yusynth VCOs into Yusynth Minimoog VCF.
- Digital Synth: Yusynth VCo driving Quantix-8 into Yusynth Minimoog VCF.
- Rhytm Synth: 2 Yusynth VCOs (one using PWM) into Yusynth Minimoog VCF.
- Sweep Synth: One Yusynth VCO into Yusynth Minimoog VCF, another VCO is
modulating the VCF frequency.
- Voice and Backing Vocals: my wife.

So is a all DIY track.
Hope you like it.

Great Job, Sebo!

Congrats on a great sounding machine - and you use it well, too.

Completely awesome tune. I loved it! I especially liked the offbeat 'claps' in the rythm and the doubling of the bass line in the second half of the song. Also, tell your wife she has a great voice! I have great respect for people who can not only sing, but do harmony lines too. Keep on making music and having fun with your modular.

Thank you all for the nice comments, my wife and I are glad you liked the track.

Actually I detuned the second oscillator. The bassline was recorded in one take,
and I was playing with the knobs.
