Hi,

not really an elektron machinedrum-clone (sorry to dissapoint you if you were expecting this Smile )
but a reworked version of richard devine's "machine DRUM 2" patch

I've added some new features like a mod env for the filters, a new fx section (3 bands distortion-unit with compressor),
a re-trigger function, a new mixer, knobs assignments new presets and 4 morph groups

morph group 1 (modwheel) : re-trigger function, move modhweel for re-triggering, adjust interval with the clockdivider and rnd-trigger
morph group 2 (page E:1) : morph effect, various parameters are assigned to this, move it to hear the effect
morph group 3 (page E:1) : morph effect, various parameters are assigned to this, move it to hear the effect
morph group 7 (pitchstick) : morph effect, this is a copy of morph group 2 or 3, but bi-polar instead of unipolar

you can do some crazy stuff with these morphs, certainly when you combine them, check audio example for a little demonstration.
This is a just a loop of 16 steps long (with no modulations) but if you tweak the morphs (and I've *only* tweaked the morphs during
that recording, nothing else) it gives this kind of result (check mp3 for example, the first 10 seconds is the loop without morph tweaks)

enjoy!

Wow, this is fantastic! I'm having great fun cranking the retrig right up, then morphing it into something new and throwing the retrig back to 0.

Thanks for this patch! Very Happy

man! i thought richards patch had lots of potential, but you totally put a twist on it. The retrig wheel action is very WARP material. great design!

Hi dido!
sorry for the late reply. I've changed the patch a little bit, now you can sequence it from a DAW. (keymappings are kick=C0, perc=D0, SHPOSC=E0, SHPOSC 2=F0)

(Basicly, you just have to replace the trigger outputs from the sequencer with a note receive module in order to make this patch work with a DAW)

cheers,
misty.

EDIT: you still need to change the value of the midi-note receive modules (top left) in the other variations, only works correctly in the 1st variation of the patch now.
