Order form for Combined Orders (finally!)

When I started selling PCBs, I didn't expect this to take on such dimensions - I thought I just collect pre-orders, get the PCBs manufactured, and ship them to those who pre-ordered. Ok, I always did some spares also, and sometimes I had to buy over-production PCBs from the factory.

But now I often get requests for an order of mixed PCBs - two Tau boards, one set of string filter boards, one flanger board, and so on. It's only natural that you only pay postage once if you get one package. It just went agains my clumsy system with the order form mails, which I kept separate for each project ...

It's high time for an "official combined order form", and here it comes.
There are only two things that you still have to keep in mind:

1. It's even more important than before that the email subject line sumarizes all you want to order, so I can see it without opening the mail.

2. If you want to combine a project that's in pre-order status (that is, not yet ready for shipping) with older projects, I will only accept payment and guarantee availibilty, when that pre-order project is ready for shipping. So you can either play safe, order all available projects now (+ shipping fee) and the pre-order project later (+ another shipping fee) and get everything as soon as possible, or your whole order will be processed when the pre-ordered project is ready (actually, when the flurry of shipping PCBs for that project is over), and you only pay the shipping fee once. I do not make reservations for older PCBs, though. I wil onl ysell what I have in stock at shipping time.

So, having said all this, I proudly offer my new order form for "mixed bags":

========= Start of Combined Order Form ===================

Email Subject line: (do not forget this!!)

"Order for N * project 1 + M * Project 2 + ...."

Example: "Order for 5 * Tau + 2 * FS-1a + 1 * Resonator"

============================================

Email text:

I'm ordering

N * Project 1

M * Project 2

... and so on ... [Please fill in the Project names here]

for 27 Euros per PCB + 6 Euros shipping flat rate per order

For a total amount of [calculate it and write it down]

I have checked that some projects consist of more than one PCB, but the price is per PCB not per project.

There may be addional tax and / or customs fees in my country - these will
be paid by me (the buyer), not by the seller.

I'm aware that I'm only buying blank PCBs that may help me building an
electonic module - I'm *not* buying a diy kit, not a "project" - just pieces
of FR4 with copper traces.
I know how to build electronic circuits and I am trained in electrical safety matters.
The seller of these PCBs will not be held responsible for any damage that results
from these PCBs, directly or indirectly.

My adress is:

[Full shipping adress, as it will appear on the envelope for sending you the PCBs]

My paypal adress is:

[your paypal adress]

=========== End of order form ========================

I hope this will make things easier for you - and I know it's still clumsy, but I'm an engineer, not a salesman. Smile

JH.

==== Frequency Shifter PCB Order Form ======

available again!

here's all the information you need to order Frequency Shifter boards:

Project description:
http://www.jhaible.heim.at/fs1a/fs1a.html

It'll be my most difficult project so far. Take a look at the schematics,
and if this doesn't frighten you away, please get back to me. (I certainly
don't want to sell a lot of boards that will be thrown away unused or
half-built, or built and not adjusted.)
Pricing will be like my previous PCBs, only that you need *two* PCBs for
each frequency shifter; that's 54 EUR + shipping.

Do not send any money now - I'll send you an invoice mail when I have the finished boards ready for shipping.

If still interested, please send me a mail in the following form (fill in
the number or text in [] brackets):

=================================================================================

Email subjet line: "FS1A PCB order [n] sets of boards"

=================================================================================

Email text:

I'm ordering [n] sets of 2 PCBs for the JH FS-1A Frequency Shifter project
for EUR 54.00 per set of boards,
plus EUR 8.00 for shipping and handling per order.

I know that this is a difficult project, and that I'm just buying the PCBs,
and not a guarantee to build a working frequency shifter.
I have access to an oscilloscope for the necessary adjustments.

My adress is:

[Full shipping adress, as it will appear on the envelope for sending you the
PCBs]

My paypal adress is:

[your paypal adress]

========================================================================================

Looking forward to hear from you,

and don't forget the email subject line with the number of PCB *sets* (1 Set
= 2 boards = EUR 54.00)

JH.

Hi,

here comes the order form for the Subtle Chorus PCBs.
As there are several options which boards to use, please follow the directions for filling out this order form very closely.
For options, see
http://www.jhaible.heim.at/subtle_chorus/jh_subtle_chorus.html

Directions for using the order form:

1. Email subject line: I have to see which boards you order in which quantiy without opening the mail.
Please write the subject line in the following form, filling in the actual numbers for [n]:

"Subtle Chorus order: [n] Main / [n] BBD / [n] Tau"

Example for ordering 5 sets for the emulation of a classic subtle chorus effect:
Subtle Chorus order: 5 Main / 5 BBD

Example for ordering just 3 BBD boards:
Subtle Chorus order: 3 BBD

Example for ordering one Dim T set (uses two Tau boards instead of BBDs):
Subtle Chorus order: 1 Main / 2 Tau

Example for one Full Dim TD setup:
Subtle Chorus order: 1 Main / 1 BBD / 2 Tau

2. Email Text: Basically you just copy and paste the text given below, fill in the quantities of the boards you want (replace [0] with the actual number, without the brackets),
fill in your shipping adress and paypal adress at the end, and then send me that email.
Shipping adress: Write it *exactly* as you want it to appear on the envelope of the package I'm sending you.
Your name, adress, zip code, country - everything that's required for you to receive a package from abroad.
(Paypal adress not required for German customers.)

Order Form starts here:

=================================================================================

Email subjet line: "Subtle Chorus order: [n] Main / [n] BBD / [n] Tau"

=================================================================================

Email text:

I'm ordering

[0] Subtle Chorus Main PCBs for EUR 27.00 per board, plus

[0] Subtle Chorus BBD PCBs for EUR 27.00 per board, plus

[0] Tau PCBs for EUR 27.00 per board, plus

EUR 8.00 for shipping and handling per order.
(No shipping charges if your order contains at least two Tau boards and one Main board.)

This is a binding pre-order.
There is no guarantee as to when the PCBs will be ready for shipping, but
I only have to pay when the boards are actually available and ready for shipping.
Estimated shipping time: Dec 2008 if we're extremely lucky - Jan 2009 more likely.

My adress is:

[Full shipping adress, as it will appear on the envelope for sending you the

PCBs]

Looking forward to hear from you,

JH.

Trapezoid VCA PCBs

(See http://www.jhaible.de/trapezoid/trapezoid.html for details about the project.)

Pricing is EUR 27.00 per board

plus a single EUR 6.00 shipping flat charge for worldwide shipping,

regardless how many boards you are ordering and where you live.

It does *not* include any customs fees or tax that you may (or may not) have

to pay in your county.

What you get is a double-sided printed circuit board with component overlay,

approx. size 160mm x 100mmm.

You have to buy the electronic components for this, and build the device,

yourself. (Check the above website regularly for updates and building hints,

bill of matrials etc.)

If you want to place an order, please send me an email to the following

adress:

jhaible -at- debitel -dot- net

and use the FOLLOWING FORM (fill in your data instead of [],

for instance: "2 Boards" instead of "[quantity] Boards")

===== Start of Email Order Form ===============

Email Subject line: Trapezoid: [quantity] boards

Email text:

I'm ordering [quantity] pieces of the Trapezoid PCB

for EUR 27.00 per board + EUR 6.00 single shipping flat charge for any

number of boards.

I'm aware that I may have to pay additional amounts of customs and tax in my

country.

I'm also aware that I'm only buying blank PCBs that may help me building an

electonic module - I'm *not* buying a diy kit, not a "project" - just pieces

of FR4 with copper traces.

I know how to build electronic circuits and I am trained in electrical safety matters.
