Hello everybody,

I'd like to replace some potentiometers of my 10 years old nord modular.

Getting the right part on the internet is not easy.

Does somebody know a suitable part reference ?

Regards,

and a happy new year

Finally, I purchased regular 4mm 10k lin low cost pot (1,2 €). Different from the Nord Modular ones but it works (shorter solder pins and round, longer axis, not D axis). I was able to modified the axis (to fit the knobs) because it's not a metallic one.

Sorry, but no magic tip.

Best,

w8

I had the same problem with failing pots on my micro. I didn't have 10k at home today so I tried using 100k linear, it worked great too. The shafts were larger gauge so I cut off the old pots from the back side of the circuit board and put the new pots on top, soldering them to the studs of the old knobs that I didn't remove. Then i fastened the pots to the panel. I had to drill up the panel to 7.5 mm to get the knob shafts through but now I can use regular knobs. So I pimped it up a little bit to match my other synth:

A little warning though. I tried cleaning the front with ethanol (T-Röd) and the black paint came off very easily! Be careful.
