With reference to the previous posting [editor's note: http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-5684.html --mosc] about the warmth trick and the allpass filters constructed with mixers it had to happen, a 32-stage phaser. Each allpass stage is made with a 6dB LP filter and two simple mixer modules. 32- stages fit just in one dsp, so with use of the bus modules one could probably go to a max of 128 stages. Of course there is a miriad of modulation possibilities with such a selfconstructed phaser, as each stage could have its own modulation.

The patch uses just tiny thin pulses to excite the two phaser channels. Watch out for the low end, its wicked.

Clavia did not publicized (or I just missed) the possibility of doing this "low" (or lower) level dsp approaches to construct filters, oscs, ...
This brings an enormous level of flexibility to the G2 ...
Any hope to see a "Math" module in the future something like the
'Logic/Gate ... AND/NAND/OR/NOR...' module, but with MATH operations like +/-/*/div/a^x/log x/mod x/abs x/round x ....???. (I know some of them already 'there' in the form of mixers/shapers ...).
Is it possible at all? I mean ... How 'deeply' the G2 hardwired ... ?

This sounds great but I'm having a tough time trying to figure out how to use it as a building block!!! Where are the inputs to the phaser?
