Thanks - these are slotted shaft pots (1/4") - so the knobs just have a whole drilled part way through, and the knobs are held with friction.
For plain shafts, i put a small machine screw through the side of the knob (pre drill) to attach the knob to the shaft.

Note the stick-on paper label for the lower switch - ultra-hi-tech solution to the rescue! I had either forgotten about this option jumper, or had decided not to add it for this one, but after getting the panel decided I actually wanted it.

The sound quality from my camera is TERRIBLE, but this module only does control signals.
This is a prototype I finished yesterday, it's a voltage to rhythm converter. It does an ADC on an input voltage and uses the binary result as an 8 beat pattern. 8 different outputs can each correspond to a different sample, or it can be put in parallel mode and each output corresponds to a certain bit of the same sample. It can output triggers or gates, has a built in clock or can run off an external clock. I've had a lot of fun with it over the last couple of days!

that's exactly what my VCPS-8 / mh11 ADC Sequencer does! and it's true, it is absolute fun: 256 different patterns accessible by control voltage.
in my experience it works best with another sequencer running on the divided clock...
(and the 8 single outputs are planned as a expansion module connected via a ribbon cable to the main sequencer)

..,and yesterday I finished my WogglebugXL It's based on Richard Brewster's version, with some extra in- & outputs
and adjusted to -5/+5V levels, except for the clk rate CV, which is now buggin me a bit (you get it 'buggin' , sorry that was really bad)
so i'll probably change that sometime.
Here is a build i finished recently. I call it the CDS-1, for compact drone synth. I used this name a long time ago to denote 'CMOS Drone Synth' but the design has changed heavily, and the original CDS-1 is only in my possesion, so i can call it wahtever i want to call it.
im going to be selling this on ebay, as i need money desperately.
You may think you're in some sort of time loop, and yes, maybe you are. But... I did post something very similar to this way back at the top of this page. This is the e580 version, in a mirror image panel design, so that if they're next to each other in my modular cabinet, they cancel out. Or something like that.

My first aluminum panel. For a utility module, so if I had screwed it up, I could go ahead with it anyway. But I think it turned out pretty well...it's going to take some practice to get my rows perfect, but there's nothing that jumps up and screams WRONG, so I'm very happy with it.
