Does any one have any experience with the Delta 44 audio interface?

My understanding is, it works out of the box, can't remember where i read that though.

Just want to make sure before i buy.
I'm using Ubuntu10.04/64bit.

It *mostly* worked out of the box for me on Windows XP, but I had some interference issues with the electronics in my computer. The symptom was a background noise. I think that is an issue with the card that varies from machine to machine. Sometimes you can fix it with BIOS settings or other such messing around. There's some information on the M-Audio official forum.

I actually still have my Delta 44 and would like to sell it. PM-ed.

I had the same problem with mine, switching it to a different PCI slot fixed the problem. If that doesn't work, take a piece of tin foil and sandwich it between two pieces of cardboard, and put one on either side of the Delta card to shield it from the neighboring cards.
