Subject description: anyone got it working on Virtual Box or Wine

I've tried Winery / Crossover and Virtual Box.
My problem seems to be that it just won't recognise the UM-One on any of them. The driver never completes an install because the USB is never found.
Anyone had any luck or should I give up and just focus on Snow Leopard and older Windows computers?

Have had no luck with Nomad either.
