If you don't plan to use it with any external voltage sources, or if you're ok always requiring that the VCA be driven from a higher voltage, that should work. But if you build the voltage division/gain adjustment into the VCA you will be locking yourself out of using other, smaller voltages to drive it. Smile

It's all tradeoffs....

In this case I'm working on a self-contained unit as opposed to a modular one, I will try it the way you suggested though because I definitely want to build something modular next time
