I'm brand new here Subject description: Introduction of myself as the musician Brainvoyager |
|
|
My real name is Jos Verboven, but artistically, I go by Brainvoyager. I’m a Dutch creator of cosmic and ambient electronic music, living in The Netherlands. Spelled as ‘Brain Voyager’, this name appeared in 1985 as Robert Schröder’s, a German electronic musician, 7th album title. This name covers exactly what Brainvoyager’s music stands for: a voyage within the listener’s brain, thus turning him or her into a real brainvoyager.
The results of all my efforts can be explored on my website. The address is: http://brainvoyagermusic.com. To listen to my tracks just choose one of the galleries there.
I would like to hear the opinions on my music from you as members of this forum. In return I will do the same for other members if they request to do so.
Edit: fixed two grammatical mistakes. I didn't like them. Last edited by brainvoyager on Thu Oct 24, 2013 2:53 pm; edited 2 times in total |

I am enjoying a brain voyage right now--Less is More and Awake in Swirling Dreams. Thanks for sharing your music.

Thanks Howard!
I see that it's possible to upload sounds. But since my tracks can easily be listened to embedded on my site or directly on Soundcloud and YouTube, I wonder if it is necessary to upload them here? And what space limit is applicable, if any? |

It is not necessary to upload stuff here, but there are two reasons to do so:
1) as long the electro-music.com exists, your stuff will be here
2) your music can be played on the electro-music.com/radio, either in the standard playlist, or as part of a program.
Also, you can explain your tracks in the forum topic, and get feedback from other members.
If you run out of space, send me a PM. _________________ --Howard

I think I'm going to spend some time to explore all the possibilities of this site. The idea of getting my music played on radio is a new concept for me and very attractive...
Thanks Howard for your answer! |

This is a very good reason.

Thanks Acoustic Interloper! I will upload some tracks this weekend.
How many people usually listen to this radio stream? Or is this hard to tell? I noticed that it's very difficult to get exposure on the internet when you make music the way I do and the style I do. Besides that, there are many, many people that make music and they all are seeking ways to get exposure of course.
I have a lot of fun when I make my music and I'm sure the biggest fan of my music is me. Maybe that's just the way it should be because I don't want to make music others like in he first place, I want to make music I like. And if others like my tracks as well, that's in qualitative respect the best kind of appreciation I can receive. I felt that receiving appreciation from other people is very rewarding and this makes the fun when making new tracks even bigger. A nice form of synergy between musician and listener I think.
I hope I'm not talking nonsense... _________________ I don't care about genres, I just make music. |
