Greetings,

Hi everyone, really great forum, this is my first post here. I want to buy a Prophet '08 and Musician's Friend has it for -15% off, or $1784. This seems like a good price with all things considered--would I be correct in asserting that?

The kicker is that I'm a bit hesitant because it's a big purchase and I don't feel like I 'deserve' the instrument just yet. I'm wondering, does anyone out there know when the next big sale would be for any online or brick-and-mortar store? Or any suggestions are welcome on how to shop for synths.

Thanks for reading,
krp

welcome to EM!

I'm not up to speed on the prices for the Prophet 08, so I have no advice for where to look for the best bargain.

What I can say is that there's no such thing as "not deserving" a great instrument. If this is the one you want and you can afford it, then you do deserve it, so just go for it!

That's my advice, and while it may sound flippant, it's still my honest advice... Very Happy
