im beggin Nord Keyboards for at least a few more colors in the editor.

256 would be just fine. Or a color mixer. Very rudimentary, even windows PAINT has it.
The very one that's been used to create the modules appearance in the Editor...

Thats really so little work...i know it doesn't affect the functionality, but maybe that's a plus.

Also would be fun if the cables would be based on Bezier Curves, so i wouldn't have to switch them off visually if they cover something,
just bend them out of the way... Changing their character in the synth menu from bent to straight is not very helpful in this case.

But that's probably asking for too much. The G2 Editor would need a lot of visual updates imho. Cascading modules, locking knobs...
A SCOPE, a Spectrum Analyser. A modular without a scope in 2009? huh?

But i really wanted to ask for a few more colors, i hate not having orange (i'm aware that's the mutator exclusion color).

i think the color orange is a curse next to the clavia red Wink
but a scop would be very nice(i have a hardware scope, but i don't want to carry that with me all day long).

i know orange was a mistake to write the minute i wrote it. Smile
But i love orange. Smile

A hardware Scope is a great thing to have, but than i'm wasting precious outputs to visualise things... and also with a cheap scope in the editor everyone could learn a LOT about synthesis. How does a signal looks like when it goes in, and what happens to it when it comes out...

There is a workaround with a level sequencer, but that's not a dedicated (DSP-optimised) module. It's expensive running control signals at audio rate.

But thanks for the tip, on how to offend Nord K-boards,muhahaha! Twisted Evil

Actually i don't think orange kills red, you see in my opinion, one color makes the other... Of all the colors, red will always be the one coming to the front, and colors next to it just makes it even more stronger.

but that's just my two cc's.

I wouldn't mind if I had less colours in the editor if I could have the green back lit screens on the G2 match the colour of my modules.

Skipping through slots and parameter pages looking for the green sequencers as opposed to my blue filters when I don't have my computer on stage would be amazing.
