just a quick question - I am about to built your baby 10 seq -
im looking for a rotary switch -

a 10 position switch should work fine....

Right, I think it says 12 Pos because that's what was on hand though. Only 10 (positions are needed.

the nice thing with these plain simple lorin 12pos rotaries is that you can limit them to any needed number.

hi again, so i made 2 seq. based on your version of baby 10 , and i was thinking what if i want them to operate 2x8 or 1x16? or to add even more seq to chain . I am studing p2&3 of Klee's seq schematics , I am really interesting to your opinion if you have time , thanks

linking two 4017 could be done, however, it might simply be not worth the hassle...

may i ask why, i mean - you say that because 4017 makes a poor seq so it doesnt worth the time ?what design will be good for linking two or more?

The TI datasheet for the 4017 has an example of how to daisychain several 4017 counters, one after the other.

i was thinking of a 4516/4514 combo. would make a more versatile 16 step sequencer...
