Subject description: Q vs Blofeld

Hi everyone,

I have been composing ambient an experimental music for more than 20 years now. I am using many synths and many different types of synthesis.

One year ago, i bough a Waldorf Blofeld. I like it but when playing/programming with one or many sustained notes, when i change the waveform of a given oscillator, i must strike a new note to hear the result. In other words, if i am already sustaining one or many notes, i won't hear the change of wave...unless i hit a new key.

My question is: is it the same with a Q or Q rack?

The Blofeld is my only synth which do not react live on wave changes when a key is already active (though it does react to everything else like filter change, mat mod, mix between osc. etc).

English is not my first language, so do not hesitate to ask, if my question is not quite clear.

Thanks in advance for your answer
