the best one is the one that you wrote yourself and you're able to add the features you need.

besides Monstrum, have a look at SoundTower editor.

there is a cool Blofeld editor that has some good wavetable editing, would be nice if that software supported the mW1/XT.

Cubase 8 might have a profile/panel for editing the mW1 directly from Cubase.

I've written some code for mW1/XT/Wave but never got it to a level worth sharing.

would be nice if a group of people could collaborate on needed software like this.
