Hi guys, i'm a MFOS fanatic from Italy and i'm searching for a schematic for a controller sax-like. Is there something similar on the net? I wasn't lucky in my search... Sad

I recently made a flow sensor for work with an arduino.
It's not very hard and if you think this might be something you could work on I could help you with some extra information, but it requires some work from my side.
For a start: http://dimitridiakopoulos.com/hiduino
Just let me know.

Hi Grumble, thanks for the fast reply.
i already know Hiduino. it's a midi project, when i'm searching for a project with a control voltage depending from key pressing and a gate signal. The pressure sensor only control another CV for the VCA.
Sorry for my horrible english! Embarassed

Ian Fritz designed a couple of wind controllers. The Stealth is the analog version, http://ijfritz.byethost4.com/Stealth/st_over.htm, Son of Stealth the Midi version, http://ijfritz.byethost4.com/SoS/sos_over.htm. He may not have published all the information, but there is enough to build these designs if you know what you are doing.

You might want to read his "Wind Control of Modular Subtractive Synthesis" http://ijfritz.byethost4.com/sy_close.htm as it provides a really good description of the thought behind the designs and how to get interesting sounds using the controllers.

Electronotes had a couple of articles on making an analog wind controller (Ian Fritz)

- EN #86 (mouth piece)
- EN #88 (KeySwitch Fingering System) < included electronic schematics, fingering charts, and a basic drawing for building the controller using wood, micro-switches and plexi-glass keys. Produced CV, Envelope, Gate and Trigger.
