I don't know how it happened, but the file I posted earlier with the DX patch names had incorrect patch numbers in some cases. I think the attached version is more accurate.

 Description:
The names of the patch variations in the Nord G2 factory bank 4. Tab-separated columns are the patch name, patch number, variation number, and variation name, respectively.

If I understand the end of this story ark was able to edit the g2cat.py to extract the text boxes in .txt format ?

It's possible to choose 1 or 2 categories for the patches. But often, in my case (and probably you too), a patch contains several categories spread over the variations.
variation1 : kick
variations2 : lead
variation3 : pad
...
I would be happy to be able to identify the category associated with each variation for all of my patches using this technique. I will check the g2cat.py soon as possible and try it myself.
