heres an idea ive been thinking about for a couple of weeks.

Itsh the 4017 / 4051 melody generator working with a 4046 so it can be a multiplier or a divider & tracker. Two parts of the 4053 are used to switch between modes (inputs tied together) and the spare switch is used to go between comp types, though it could be used to switch between different input sources perhaps...

Its just a concept drawing so some fiddly stuff is probably missing,


Any thoughts appreciated!h

This circuit worked well enough on the breadboard, frequency multiplication confirmed under scope. You can add the cap switch and pot as found on the pitch tracker as well. Still bugs to work out on my panel though...
