FS/US -> WW 5U MOTM modules Subject description: Ian Fritz, Oakley, Mankato |
 |
|
Items for sale:
Various 5U MOTM format modules that I am selling because I’m not using them. In most cases I have duplicates or replacements in hand. With the exception of the Mankato all panels have some very slight rash; I have mostly used wood screws with a conical shape, so they don’t generally wear directly on the front of the panel, but there is some visible scratching right at the edge of the mounting holes. The Mankato was re-panelled specifically for sale, so it is using a panel that has never been mounted to a case.
Most of these are my own builds. Some parts of the Ian Fritz modules were built by Brian Schweinsburg (aka decaying.sine on Muff’s), I got them in trades with him and finished/wired them all.
If there is any issue with any module I will accept a return and refund, or I will be happy to repair it. I do not expect any functional problems, these have all been tested before being put up for sale.
Paypal only, F/F preferred, prices include shipping to continental US, outside there I can discuss shipment at additional cost (but be warned, it seems that shipping outbound from the US to elsewhere is a lot more expensive than the other way around). Contact me for my paypal account name.
Ian Fritz Teezer $350
Ian Fritz’s Through Zero oscillator. Note that there is not actually a scratch on the front panel, I’ve included two different shots which should make clear that I was having problems with a hair on my camera lens.
Ian Fritz 5pulser $200
Ian Fritz’s waveshaper, this module converts an incoming saw into a train of pulses, whose position and width are determined by CV and the 4 switches. These switches have short bats; if that is of concern to you I can swap for standard bats given a little time to order the replacements.
Ian Fritz Double Deka $450
This is Ian’s variable waveform oscillator. It scans at high rates through the settings of the sliders, letting you “draw” the waveform you want to use. There are two oscillators whose waveforms are independent, and can be set to different octaves, but they are both receiving the same V/Oct CV.
(Ian Fritz Threeler) $300
This is Ian’s multiple slope VCF. There are three stages of filter at 6dB slope per, stacking three LPFs in a row gives and 18dB response. A rotary switch selects one of four possible combinations of LPF + HPF, one each of all LPF or all HPF, one that’s low / high / low and one that’s high / low / high. The outputs of each stage are available separately. This is marked with parens because it is waiting on a replacement for the selection switch before it will actually be available -- the switch is expected to arrive Monday. I'm including this one in advance in case someone is interested in all the Ian Fritz modules together -- I can cut you a deal if they're all shipping to the same place. I can supply preliminary photos on request, when it's fixed I'll add the "real" ones.
Oakley Triple LFO $250
A very useful, simple triple LFO. It’s nice to have three modulation sources on a single 2U wide panel. This one also has short-bat switches like the 5pulser. I've wired the power together between the PCBs so you only need a single power cable.
Thomas Henry/Magic Smoke Mankato VCF $320
This is the famous Mankato VCF on a panel made by Bridechamber. It has multiple cutoff slopes, and while it’s not as pretty as the Suit & Tie Guy layout, it still sounds good. It can also be used as an octature sine wave oscillator, each of the filter responses is 45 degrees out of phase from the next, and they are marked with phases and their respective slopes on the panel.
