During my day job. I've been thinking about how i could possibly make a single 555 timer toy organ trigger two or more astable circuits in an alternating pattern. For example, pushing one button on the toy organ would make two astable circuits activate in an alternating pattern.

I was thinking of possibly using probably 3 transistors to do that. You have one transistor being activated by the toy organ. Which will then possibly activate the other 2 transistors which will turn the other two astable circuits on and off in an alternating pattern.

You may ask, "why not just use xseries of chip to do the same task but easier?" I have a lot of 555 timers on hand and i just want to see what can be done with multiple 555 timers.
