I am trying to re-establish contact with synth expert Mike Irwin. I had his phone number, and an e-mail address, but they don't seem to be valid anymore. I know he takes in synths for repair from all over the world, so I thought perhaps someone here might have had recent contact with him.

If you know his whereabouts and how to reach him, drop me a line at: mhammer@295.ca

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have lost touch with Mike as well, getting his help on a 2164 project long ago. Great guy, great resource.

If you can't find him, and you need repairs to older gear and are willing to ship to the US this guy went through my minimoog recently and did a remarkable and wonderful job on a full up restore. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the reply. Don't need anything repaired. Really more a desire to re-establish contact with a friend that I miss. I also have some stuff I can give him from a mutual friend of ours.

But thanks for the link and effort.

Mark
