External clock input for the Benjolin

Hi to all, I want to know that is possible to add an external clock input for the Benjolin to sync the rungler speed with a drum machine or my computer via trigger.

Is it possible? I tried cutting the signal until pin 10 of the 4021 connecting pin 10 to a switch and one jack but it didn't work

Can somebody tell me how?, in the macumbista Benjolin he has this option.
