Ironicaly, the filter structure was one I tried and discarded very early on.. I added one inverter module, and the characteristic croak and cricket-like resonance that had been so hard to obtain, appeared to a point where they had to be tamed down.

The osc section now does the 303 'square wave' which doesn't really resemble a classic square wave.

The control parameters are the things that need tweaking slightly if an exact repro is whats needed, so that'll be in the next version.

So, it's not totaly finished, but pretty usable...

Just an addeddum:

The cutoff is mapped to the mod wheel, it won't start screaming untill that gets cranked.

FYI - The main thing with the control system is, the 303 resonance interacts with cutoff and env, keeping the filter from having too much q at low cutoffs, this gives that dry croak. So that's one thing I'll do next: unfortuanately Clavia only included rez-mod on it's classic filter. (with no 18db setting), so I'll have to make my own resonant feedback system.

OK, I noticed a flaw in strapping three 1pole filters in series and using their resonance controls...

In an '18' db filter (and purists... I know it's not *stricktly* 18 in the 303 but to all intents and purposes Smile )
The feedback resonance path is derived from the in series output of all three poles, and back into the input of the filter.

Using each poles integral resonance creates a feedback loop on each pole, which is (over) emphasized at each successive pole.

Here's a modified version.

This sounds fantastic!!
I tried to create a sequencer to drive it in another slot. However, I have had little luck with the sequencers in the G2 trying to do this sort of thing. I need to place an envelope generator between the sequencer gate output and midi note send gate input to control the note length, but what is the best way to set the note length based on the clock tempo, for example 16ths, 1/4 notes etc?
Thanks,
Justin.
