Did you get a Canon camera? I did, and it has this odd "color replacement" feature built in...the manual says "Take a picture of your car, and see what it would look like if it was a different color!". The effect does strange things with flowers.

Anyway, nice pics! I'm thinking racing stripes for mine...

Speaking of appearance mods, the obvious thing to do if you're swedish is to put two dots over the 'o' in Nord. Nörd is a pretty common swedification of the english 'nerd' (pronounced the same way). I've always wondered if Clavia were aware of this...

I bet the guys at Clavia are familiar with Swedish. Wink

If Apple bought Clavia, then I'm sure the synths would come in nice lollipop colors. If Clavia bought Apple... well that's an interesting thought experiment.

I've been pondering case-modding my G2s many times, because I really dislike that red color. The purple bits on the control panel are even worse.

You must be a Waldorf fan, ehh? I believe there were limited editions of the Microwave (or was it the XT) in very similar colors.

not especially. i do think for some reason that i would love my G2 a bit more if it were puke green though. Very Happy

yes, Waldorf was pretty 'colorful' up until the end. the original Wave synth came in a few different colors, the MW XT was bright orange with a limited run of black ones. the Q came in blue, yellow, and red.

i wonder, is it possible to buy a G2 top panel from Clavia? i think this was possible with the NM1, but i don't think a swap would be anywhere near as easy as on the original. would be great to have a spare to do a custom paint job on.

Maybe Clavia should merge with Nokia, and start making big bucks with removable covers and other personalization accesories. Hey, the ringtones aren't the problem Laughing

Scandinavian G2 users would surely go for Viking decorations, I would prefer an "espresso coffee colored" limited edition of it Cool

I guess norwegians would at least consider "rosemaling"
http://www.rosemaling.org/
http://www.rosemaling.com/

or some modern day runic graffiti
http://www.arild-hauge.com/einscription.htm

or wooden sides with an attitude
