?? Is there any Forum with G2/NM1 Section in German Language |
 |
|
I`M looking for a Place where i can get more knowledge about patching in the G2/ NM1 in German. I would like to leave the path of just patching basical substractive patches.
There are some german speaking people here i saw. some are advanced G2 Users it seems
Is there a place in the net you are also disscussing or giving a Hand in german speaking.
I brought the Idea to the Synthesizerforum.de to make a own G2 Section.
The siteadmin and Introducer Moogulater is open to do so, but only if there is a need because of Numbers of threads.
I have so many Questions, so many things i like to know. It`s hard for me to follow englisch threads, its much harder to tipe down in english, and specially it is hard for me to surch dozens of threads, because i have really problems readíng much on a TFT. MY ones are to bright (zu hell)
Is any of the German speaking people interested to support a G2 place in German (for the case that there is not allready one )
Is anybody interested to give a Hand in G2 Questions or discuss routings in the synthesizerforum.de. There are allready a few People with G2 . But i think it needs a Number of Users that it can flow and growing up. Other ways it will be like water into Sand: Wet just for short
The Forum from Moogulator is a good Place, and the right place to open a German G2 community
hoping for feedback, thanks
Hemi

Hi Hemi,
I know about Mic "Moogulator" Irmers forum. (I've contributed to one thread ("Schwurbel nervt") over there lately).
Although I'm swiss too (and do not live very far from where you do ), I like to converse in the english language here on E-M, because it is my mother tongue and because -well- I've already been here a while and was on the NM mailing list before that too.
But I'd contribute to a dedicated G2 forum over there too, if/when the time allows.

Hi Tim +mosc
I will post now there the Links to my patches postet here. I make this way my first stepps to increas G2activity and hoping the other G2 users do the same.
As here also there. i`m not the one with many things to give, just many Questions waiting to be answered.
English is also the first Language i learned, but unfortunately i vorgott it when i was 5 Years old.
Mosc, You speak german ?
Out of that, that you both did`nt gave tipps for a German speaking G2 Community it really lucks for me a the Moment that there is no one.
Time to change, not ?
As told: Mic "Moogulator" will open a own section for the G2 when posts reach some numbers. He is really interested that the G2 activity will be more, because its a good thing.
My Idea to have a G2 Community in German is not only the Language. To start a new one means also there`s more place for the really basical stuff.
Threads more tought as a synth beginners basic introducing would be a good thing.
Because of the G2 Demo, it is avalaibal to everybody with a (fast )Computer.
So the G2 is in my opinion also a Teaching tool
So i try to keep it growing, looking for patches who are good examples to expllain things, and then i will post the Links. (if ok, for that question i will open a wen thread here)
So if we are more activ, it would be nice to get a Hand from some experienced users.
Get a luck from Time to Time, please
Thanks,
Hemi |

I, unfortunately, do not speak German.
We are considering a beginners forum here. Should we have German language forum?
Funky, please feel free to ask any question no matter how basic, and do not worry about your English. You speak well enough. I wish I could speak German as well. _________________ --Howard

ok, thanks
it seems that i come here also.
Beginners Forum would be fine, maybe not only with a regular thread section.
A Tipps/teaching/tutorial section could be cool. Not only in the view to give a G2 Owner a hand at first stepps. Also in the View to give anybody interested to understand their Synths an entry.
Because of the G2 Demo a worthful thing for everybody. I learned so much with my NM1. Because of good overview the modulars are perfect to learn about modulation routings for example.
Once understood, it`s much easier to programm this things in other hardwaresynths.
German Forum here ? Ha ,Yes! would be fantastic. there are allready some very experienced German speaking People here.
I`m in doubt that at the www.synthesizerforum.de an activ G2 Community will grow. It is there really a nice place, and perfect for a G2 Community, but here ? this is the Motehrshipp ......
OT:
One Problem i have: this Forum has grey colours near to white, my TFT is much too bright (it`s allready down adjustet), so it`s hard to read here for me.
Is there a way that i can regulate this ? i would like to have darker grey tones. Can i do this individually for me |

Darker gray tones? Where exactly? Can you attach a screen shot or something. I've never heard this complaint before, but that doens't mean it does not bother other people too. _________________ --Howard

It`s especially a problem of my TFT. I dont think that it is a Problem in general.
I mean you have many Users here, if it would be a Problem than you would now it.
I just saw: In that forum i stay normally, there is the Background colour an olive green, so i have there this Olive green also when tipping text.
First the Textwriting field (Background Colour)
Next all others !!! sorry my TFT are really terrible. For Cubase they are ok.
You can take a look at www.synthesizerforum.de
I`m shure: most Users would not like it if you change something.
Thank you for asking |

OK, I won't worry about it then.
I have two friends who are color blind and they have blessed the colors we are using.
New monitors are pretty cheap these days. I just got a beautiful new Samsung SyncMaster 940t - excellent. _________________ --Howard

Yes, dont worry
I got 3 acer AL1912. the cheapest i found.
For Cubase, G2 and NM1 Editor very fine, but for any kind od reading or writing text on white Backgrounds they are horrible. |

1. get a new monitor and
2. have you tried babel fish?
babelfish kann gesamte Webseiten für Sie übersetzen. dieses konnte für das Übersetzen etwas von der Fachsprache im Forum nützlich sein. ich spreche irgendwie Deutsches nicht an allen.
http://babelfish.altavista.com/
es ist nicht ideal, aber es ist besser als nichts. |

Ich habe versucht, diese Übersetzerprogramme zu verwenden, aber normalerweise bitten Leute, die die andere Sprache sprechen, mich zu stoppen. _________________ --Howard

First Phrase is perfect, second not and the third is complete bullshit
The phrase vom mosc is perfect . Was it really Babelfish ?
I dont think that for technical explainings Babelfish will be a help, and its too complicated i think. But i never tryed it out.
Money for a new TFT i dont have, and Space for an CRC is no more. I had 21" CRC, that was fine. And: what i read is that most TFTs are too bright.
And i cannot really test this in a shopp, because just for minutes there is no one problematic |

hm, the software is called babelfish; after all that's where the confusion started...
too bad, douglas adams isn't around anymore to elaborate on this.
@mosc: a beginner's forum for nm1/g2 related questions would be nice, indeed!
@funky40: wenn du texte am bildschirm schlecht lesen kannst, kann es hilfreich sein, die entsprechenden stellen mit der maus auszuwaehlen (linke maustaste klicken und gedrueckt halten oder mit strg-a alles auswaehlen).
best regards
