An emulation of a soft sounding analog diode clipper with a tone control added

Two knobs: distortion depth and tone control

Technically the clipper crossfades between a harmonic distortion function and a clipper function to get a softer edge. A unity-gain variable-bandwidth filter is inserted in the feedback loop to create the tone control.

Probably this is not the best place to talk about this topic, but I find unfair that most of the G2 usability comes from this forum and especially some amazing posters like Rob and all the others, without official mention from Clavia.

In my particular case, I it weren't by all that building blocks and great patches I couldn't do more than classic sounds with this machine and I would never find how many explendid sounds can be made with it. I would have bought a Virus by now...

Said that, I hope that Clavia takes this forum seriously and make something to support all those great building blocks and synthesizer architectures made here.

Probably they would sell the G2 much more, now I think it is like a freaky-only thing.
