Spring Equinox 2012

This set introduces a new module that I added recently: the CGS Infinite Melody and Diatonic converter.

The set opens with some filtered noise and a section with the Infinite Melody + Diatonic converter. I then introduce non-tempered tuning by switching to the Infinite Melody alone.

The second half utilizes the Klee Sequencer and voltage-quantizer. However, I play this in 14-tet tuning.

At the end if kind of dissolves back into filtered noise.

And that is that!

Here is mine. I tried to have some winter in it (noise / reverb) and some spring (sine waves!)
Used gear: the modular, some reverb out of the behringer multifx, and sooperlooper to tie it all together.

It was a joy to do this one. I hope you like it as much as I did when turning the knobs.

Here's my live set for your listening enjoyment. Thanks to everyone for posting up their recordings. I'm looking forward to catching up on those that played in the early hours of the morning AU time.

I did this set with the config that evolved from my Drone Experiments. Six soft synths, numerous Ableton effects, and my 25 key midi controller.

Here's mine! This was the first time I've ever actually performed live, and on top of that, the Monomachine's still pretty new to me. There are mistakes, but overall very happy with how it turned out. Doing it as part of the the concert was a blast.

Here is my set. This was played mostly using my Eigenharp running loops and sequences, as well as a couple of the solos. The EWI also features prominently. There was a tiny bit of Filatron on my iPad as I moved away from the sequences and into the ending.
