After playing around with the formant stuff, and reading mosc's post about the filterbank I thought I would make one of my own. Nothing special patchwise, but it's a nice thing to have. I used it a few times yesterday and you have great control over a sound's character - you can completely change or accentuate the character of a sound very easily. It's a great tool to give stale drum loops new life. Morph groups are great with this too... you get the idea Smile

Based on the frequencies of the Moog 914 filterbank frequencies. Uses 36% dsp, which is twice what the NM filterbank used (with less bands). Still, better than nothing!

edit: Argh, just realised one of the frequencies was wrong (2.1k). This is now fixed (to the correct 2.8k).

Haha damn, don't I feel like an idiot Embarassed

I guess you'd call my patch in the previous post a graphic EQ with the more musical Moog 914 frequencies instead of straight octave subdivisions. I still find it very useful for shaping sounds. I guess Laughing

For a proper bpf filterbank, see: http://www.electro-music.com/forum/viewtopic.php?highlight=filter+bank&t=7634

Or patch attached below.
