the teremin is form paia theremax. It has a 0-4 Volts of CV output so, for extend the CV to -12 +12 V I've used this circuit (don't care about R2 and R3 values they are experimental) ,It'is a simply two stages inverter amplifier. The first sum -12 V and the CV output represented by source V3 And the second invert the signal form the first stage.

Way cool, Koopa! I love the integrated Theremin and Soundlab.
I built the Theremax a couple weeks ago - and the CV and Gate outputs for controlling the synth were one of the reasons for my building it.

Looks like you and I used the same antenna material and mounting method. I've been building a modular for the last six months and will get to the soundlab eventually - it looks like a fun (portable) project - the modular does not get moved much Wink

Re: the Lego project box... I may steal that idea to make some guitar stompboxes...

Hiya Mosc -
There must be a bunch of hams among the braintrust here.... although I guess building things isn't as essential to hamming as it used to be.

I used to build lots of ham and stereo stuff, and really enjoyed modifying tube and military surplus gear for Ham use (ARC5's and BC454's and such). When everything went digital, surface mount or monolithic I pretty much stopped building. I have not done much (except for work) until I started with the analog synth gear last fall. Man - have I missed building for FUN.

Nice to have all the info available on this site. Thanks to all of you for the analog synthesis education...

welcome Bruce.

Most of my ham building was voice processors based on synth technology. Now I do all my building writing code, mostly for this place. Very Happy

My synth building life is now appreciating and encouraging other people.
