Hi,

Here is a nice marriage of g2 keyboard and dsi evolver desktop. the g2 is the synths and sequencer for evolver who is a bongo drum driven to madness.

Your thoughts or comments are always appreciated.

Hey Dasz,

some heavy Twisted Evil you've got there!

it is clear i will have no problems filling the low frequency range Cool.

the evolver seems to be capable of some heavy industrial type sounds too

still waiting for my 'studio' to arrive Wink

the evolver has many sources (like 4 - 6 depending on how you use the features) of ripping distortion ...

dasz, do you use the software editor available for the Evolver or just edit from the front panel matrix?

just the matrix panel for now and a g2 panel as well (someone posted an evolver controller patch). works pretty good. I don't use the evolver sequencers, I do all sequencing from the g2.

ohyeah Smile
An evolver is perfect for industrial sounds.
(the mutate function is very useful to achieve this Smile )
I'm sure you gonna love it!

hmmmm... yeah, just bought another desktop Evolver after having sold my first one a couple of years ago. with all the distortion and feedback options it can definitely do some pretty crazy and noisy sounds well-suited for industrial music. I edited from the front panel matrix as well, the synth parts are fine with this approach, but editing the sequencer in this manner I found a bit confusing, so was wondering if anybody had any experience using the software editor.

Nice syncopated accents -- catchy and fun.

The timbre changes constantly -- are you doing this with the G2 or the Evolver?

I hope to see some G2's and Evolvers in action at the electro-music festival. I don't know much about these synths however they produce great sounds.

the beat is tweaked live (evolver - 4 different patches), the g2 is the sequencer and synth stuff ...
