Hello As usual I always get in late.
Are there any 2nd run PCBs still available?
If so, what would the cost be?
Thanks |

Hello
PM's have been sent to people who reserved
PCBS ONLY.
Still waiting for switches so PMs for PCB+Switch orders
will be next week, sorry.
PS If people don't reply to their PMs I will assume they don't want
the board and offer it to people in the waiting list.
Thanks

Got my package today, should have these done in oh I dont know 2010 maybe.
Any source buried in the last 10 pages for the slide switches? I would love to avoid using BIG rotaries if possible.
Thanks Ryk!
EDIT: I have to confess that I had not even read anything regarding the function of this sequencer prior to ordering it, I just love sequencers!
Man this is a fantastic tool. These will definitely be done in '09. The stage reapeat function is gonna be seeing a lot of use.
I REALLY need to quit my job in order to have time to fill in the backlog hole. |

Hello
Glad it arrived ok.
I have managed to get some more slide switches which
are for sale, most are now reserved.
PM's about to go out
PM me know if you want a set.
I thought of an additional mode that might be fun:-
At the moment the seq. is kind of linear [if you change the length
of one step it affects the loop length of the whole seq.]
I was thinking of having a mode where the loop length is fixed
to say 16,24,32,, beats etc but you can adjust the step lengths
without affecting the loop length.
Does that make sense to anyone ?
Anybody else finished building one yet !
thanks

Heres a couple dumb ones:
Is there a complete schematic out there for this? I have only found the panel wiring thus far.
Could Ryk post his Schaeffer panel file? I would like to get familiar with the rectangular holes idea as I have now commttted to the slide switches. Even a generic holes only file or something along those lines. |

Hello Numberone.
There is no complete schematic posted, sorry.
If you go back into the thread [page 8 ?] , you will find the technical
drawings for the switches, and measurements.
I would wait until you have a look at the switches before
you make a panel.
The panels I made are for Roland 100m system, so would
be awkward fit for "contemporary" modular design.

That sounds like it could be fun
Would it just be another selection on the mode switch or would I need to add another switch to the panel?
Thanks,
Dave |

Hello
Well maybe it could done using the
existing 4-way seq-mode switch
and loosing the voltage controlled stage
function !
Depends which one is more useful.
My guess is that this new idea is more of
interest to the dance-techno musicians
who want to make interactive 16/32 loops . . .
