erm.. Not the best at this kind of thing.. but it sounded kinda brassy to me so probably best to start with saw waves, though it is filtered quite a lot and probably tracking the keyboard. The way the envelope cuts the signal each time a new key is pressed, suggests note on is set up to restart the envelope and there seems to be a short delay between this and full volume, so your going to want to increase the attack time on the volume envelope... hmmm....well at least it's a start. _________________ iP (Ross)

That's basically it I think and a bit of echo and reverb - I started trying it last night but got distracted I could not find good filter settings trying the multi-filter on 6 or 12 dB, I think the filter might have a separate envelope for modulation and there might be velocity sensitivity on that, but it could also be a slow rising attack phase. _________________ Jan

hmmm... had a quick read through that.. doesn't seem to be anything that special about the envelopes except the option to have a really slow attack. But i wouldn't say that was the case on your sample. I'd say just patch it nice and simple,
Saw OSC ->LP Filter -> ADSR - > Ouputs and tweak until it starts sounding close.
The .doc mentions that the envelope times can be modulated so that may be the effect used here, swap your standard ADSR for the modulateable one and set up a LFO to slightly modulate the attack time.. this may be the velocity like effect that Jan was referring to.
It also looks like there is only one ENV so I would imagine you will need to patch your envelope control output to modulate yr filter too. _________________ iP (Ross)

Why not upload your patch (to this thread) and let someone have a look at it. Hopefully someone might have some ideas. I'm out of town for the weekend so can't really provide much input without my kit. _________________ iP (Ross)
