The demo version needs no driver, it just works on vista.

I know I'm critical about these kinds of projects, mostly when it concerns 'free' things... I assume you include software already available on the net or do you publish special designed software to this particular project, which means you or somebody else in the project has the copy rights? If it is free or shareware it doesn't mean you can publish it on a CD-rom or other formats and ask money for it or is the DvD also for free? If the DvD is not for free and the software has copy rights by others then you or your publisher, you'll have to have written permission by them allowing it to be included to something that will be sold to a third party...

This also goes for including the G2 Demo from Clavia.

You are always allowed to link to sites where this software is down load able.

Yes, I'm aware of that, but you can't draw the line what's legal. Beware of the fact you already announced the software will be delivered along with the tutorial and this can be seen as an illegal advertisement for your DvD using other peoples work! You are allowed to link to the sites where the freeware and shareware is available. In fact, that's why they make it freeware in the first place: to visit their site. This is one of the reasons Clavia published the G2D: "If you want it, go to Clavia's site"; not: "Buy Rolands DvD". I should contact Clavia about the G2D also...

The software is free, but not the distribution coupled with selling something else. 'Work and time' is also collecting the freeware... Where to draw the line? It's the same with some people who ask money for a Categorized Archive of the NM Classic and think they are allowed to get paid for listening to all those Patches and put these in the right folder Smile

This is great news. I have been a great admirer of Roland Kuit's patches and perspectives for years. I will buy his tutorial as soon as it comes out.

This is a great price, it's certainly worth the money, even more then that.
You can learn a lot from it and it is very well explained, supported with great practical examples. The examples are an inspiration for new patches.

Ha, i have the price indication now. it will be costing E39,50. excl. sending costs. it's written for use in internet explorer, but i wil have a look to get it in firefox too. there are some problems with that. i'm just trying, not promeshing.

That is a reasonable price.
To save on shipping costs would we be able to download an ISO image, once we've paid for it?

Will you accept paypal?

yes, cappy, i'm looking for a good space to store the data to it. but then you don't get the beautiful printed dvd and layout:) you have to print it yourself.

Nice one... Digital distribution would be preferable for me, I just hate having to be at home to accept deliveries and can't get stuff delivered to my work.

I realize that. Hopefully, the layout will be easily printable. I'm actually curious to see "what's on the cover".

Wow!
I never realized you have children and even a grandson already... Shocked
I think the answer lies in the salty cookies behind the synth... Cool

Anyway, please be careful with those matches! These Keio electronics burn easily Smile
