Some recording from the Bocum Tiergarten, recorded on Sunday 14th December 2008 using my Zoom H2

I was wandering round the park on the Sunday afternoon, killing time before my flight home after going to see Stephen Parsick play at Bochum Planetarium the night before.

I discovered the Tiergarten by accident, having been drawn there by a rather strange sound Smile

I was just wondering round the park, looking at the strange sculptures and trying to keep warm as it was pretty cold, when I heard the gibbons and not knowing what they were had to go and investigate. I actually recorded them from the outside of the Tierpark, but then ended up going in to find out what the sound was Smile

Those Gibbons are mad sounding ! they get funnier as the recording progresses !
