i love the talk about musics here on the forum. i get always an inspiration from abstract/minimal art. beside music, i had a study in painting, but little time to go further in that because music was more my thing but ive worked a lot with famous painters and sculpturists.
because of the accident with my arm i was not in making music for a while. happily its comming back. i think creativity has to come out one way or an other. so i wanted to show you a few of my lefthanded(i m righhanded) paintings.

thans shane,
the problem with these paintings it the light. they have more colors. the finishing layer is a see trough metalic paint i use. so there is a lot of change with different lighting.

I agree with shane, these pics suggest there would be a deeper experience of depth and dimentional change at different lighting and viewing angles than could be seen at just the one photograph.

Having said that, I was about to compare it to cutting out a single waveform out of a musical piece, but that would be more static than this, as you can scan across picture and have a sequence of experience even in this frozen state.

hehe electric-fire, that is cool thinking Smile and i agree. wveforms are vibrating...so do colors. the canvas itself and the finishing layer is a sort of sound box where the different layers of paint are reverberated. and light is the ambiance, masking or resonating vibrations.
