Hi,
My Nord G2 has been working fine for months. Now I began to have trouble getting it working with the editor. The editor crashed for a few times before windows 7 can't communicate with the usb device.

I just reinstalled windows in case it was a virus or something, but now even if I let the usb cable plugged off, trying to use the synth as stand alone, it will always display that error message with only the 5 LED screens lit up.

It is written : "Header bhks err/Nord Modular G2" and two other screens got black squares on the first row of characters...

Anyone know how I could do a master reset? I contacted the technical support, I will send more info when they contact me back.

Thanks.

Ok I made it, that was scary.

As stated in the 11th chapter of the manual, when "for some reason" the synth stop responding to the computer, you can perform the master reset by pressing Store + Performance Mode when powering it.

Then in manual update mode, I was able to reinstall the 1.62 OS.

Hope this will help other people.

This is bad! The synth is broken again and now even the manual update mode won't work. Store + performance while booting will still display the error message.

I have been able to work with the G2 for a few hours only then it crashed again, freezing the editor and the synth. At reboot I see the error message.

I can't wait for clavia to reply to me!

Clavia might be on holidays right now. Maybe something loose in the synth ... sounds more like the program memory is fucked ... Crying or Very sad
