Synare 2 manual or schematics

So..... I picked up a star instruments synare 2 a while back on craigslist, and to my amazement it was nearly fully functional, except for the white and pink noise generators (pretty amazing for a 30 year old synth that was designed to be whacked with sticks!). In addition, the bizarre foam rubber keyboard pads are FAR from responsive, but they still work. So in my quest to make this thing useable, I've devised a two pronged attack. First, I'd like to replace or repair the noise generators, and either clean the pad contacts, or retrofit it with midi or an external keyboard (while midi sounds cool, the internal sequencer is really really fun to play with and pretty powerful). Second, I'd like to make sure I understand all of the features it already has (I'd been playing it for months before I discovered the mode in which the pads can be assigned to different note values). Does anyone out there have a schematic or a manual for this thing, or at least some knowledge as to how to operate it?
