I've played music for years, mostly guitar and bass and drums. Lately I've been getting into the electronic side of things like circuit bending some old guitar pedals i have with kill-switches and potentiometers, but its random effects. I have a bunch of old equipment I want to dismantle and then make into a cool synth with a lot of different effects ( pitch bend, attack, decay, distortion, modulation, ect.) I have honestly no expierence with doing somthing on this scale. I will put pictures of the devices I have once I get home. Any ideas would be great. Pictures will be up in 3 hours. Thanks,

welcome

A lot of effects won´t build you a mega synth. The DIY section here is probably the best place to start.
One thing you should know is that the traditional way to build an analog modular synth is to use voltage for control of the various modules, and the overall signal level in such a synth is a tad higher than your ordinary instrument/line level stomp box operates on.

I suggest you do some research here first, post questions in the diy section and get familiar with the concepts involved. At some stage you will suddenly have worked it all out; how to build a monster synth and how to make use of alll the gear you already own.

Very Happy
