I've come across a few people who have been having trouble getting the edcast WinAMP plug in to broadcast at a constant bitrate. So here's the INI file that you need to include in the WinAMP program file directory (where lame_enc.dll lives) which will force the bit rate to 128k CBR.

I use this configuration regularly on the open port and it's very stable. Har has also reported it to work well when broadcasting on Still Stream.

Hope this helps someone at some point.

Cheers, Joel... Smile

I don't use Windows, but I think it's great of you to share this. Very Happy

If anyone else uses Linux, I'm perfectly happy to share any of my configuration settings, assume I'm using the same software.
