Alright mate? Whilst Glasgow has an amazing music scene the DIY side of things is a little limited, or at least theyre good at hiding! Laughing
As for shops for parts, there is very little, maplin (rip off) is in the centre of town, and there's a mouser trade counter in the east end, but I mostly just my stuff by mail order from Rapid.
Best place to hunting for like minded individuals though is rub a dub records down at St Enoch square, have a chat with the guys in there, they'll point you in the right direction.
My own DIY antics are on hold at the moment due to a new job that's taking up most of my time,k but once that calms down I have a few projects in the pipeline to start, and I'm planning a new modular cabinet and a series of drum modules. We should hook up some time if you fancy?

So what brings you to Glasgow then?

Cheers,

Bod.

I came to Glasgow to have my second degree man.
I thought that now one was going to answer-
I checked the maplin store-farnell is by far the best choice.
rub a dub : what a nice store ,I wish I had the money for it though.
I made few projects the last year + a lunetta module cabinet.
but I didnt brought any with me,not even my sampler.
Thinking for some new projects-right now im making a uv light box
I dont even have my solding iron+breadboards with me.
Anyway I found some diyers down to CCA.
We definitely can shear some tips and beer.
