I was tricked into streaming last night by Phobos on the chat. Wink

So I rigged up the Octatrack, the OP-1, a guitar through the HOG, and the KX88/MicroEnsemble combo and noodled around for an hour and a half.

The final mix came out of the OP-1, which was set to compress/distort a bit. At times it clipped noticeably, but I liked the sound so I kept it as it was.

I chose the title because I felt like I was going to mostly tickle the ivories randomly in C minor, which I did. I feel like this has been done to death, and I'm not expert on the piano, but somehow a piano never sounds bad whatever you do with it. I added some effects from the Octa.

I used a synth sound on the OP-1 through a grid delay.

The long loop was done on the OP-1. I think the high pass fading effect comes from the fact that it's bit-reduced when you multiply the delay time.

BTW, I recorded this using butt, which I am going to try to remember not to do in the future, since it cuts away stuff - I think it's when the connection drops. So if you hear anything that sounds like a skipping effect here, it wasn't intentional.
