I had been browsing a bit bit through the Solomon papers ( see http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-2948.html ) and came up with this patch as an experiment in symetry.

It uses matrix mulltiplication to rotate some patterns over synth parameters. Speed and pitch are rototated from two sequences, color and amplitude likewiise from two independent sequences.

Some variations are present in the patch.

Not only is this interesting intellectually, it sounds great too.

I promise, but recording means 'not programming' and I have some very nasty stuff to do which might take me a few more days ... going minimal has some drawbacks (just a lousy laptop and two G2's right now)

Please remind me in a few days.

Ok, decided on stopping for today & didn't feeel like going to bed right away & so ...

There is a small intrinsic problem recording noodles, they never do the nice things then (the demo effect I guess), but it will give some idea I hope.

This is variation 1.

Voice count is 2, both voices play the same thing (apart from minor variations) but they are rotated over a different angle.

The recording is not long enough to have a complete rotation cycle, the cycle time was about 2:20, the recording is 1:30 or so.

Ouch. It sounds much better than this coming directly from the G2. This is just a shadow of the real thing.
