I've talked with others about doing this as a collaboration, and that still stands if we feel like picking it up. In the meantime, I'm announcing this project that I'm going to try to pull off myself, just to see how a project like this develops. If any reading this feel inspired to do their own interpretations, that would be awesome!

So basically I have an album title and a set of track titles, now all I need is music to go with them.

The title of the album is "First Humans on Earth". The way I envision this is, you have this planet fully formed with plants and animals and stuff, but no humans. Then, all of a sudden, there are humans! The track titles describe general episodes in the story about how these humans develop, with the first and last as a kind of prologue/epilogue thing:

A Clearing at Night
The First Baby
Cooking
A Glimpse of God
Artwork
You and Me
Ceremonial Dance
A Collection of Tools
The First Death
The Forest at Night

I'll try to do these from the top down. Beware that some of them may be short. Wink Let's see how this goes!

Edit: [list=] doesn't seem to work? Never mind.

The forest at night.

This was inspired by the live improvisation for the autumn equinox streaming event 2021.

gear used:
- Cockos Reaper with JS effects (JS distortion, ReaEQ, ReaLimit)
- Native Instruments Una Corda library
- Cooper FX Arcades with Generation Loss card (VHS delay)
- Korg Wavestation A/D
